Almost 3 weeks passed since I last posted to this blog.. Some people complain about it. I have been busy with the new political scenario back home. Too occupied with the latest happenings in Malaysia. Everyday you would read new interesting things happening in Malaysia. In fact, to keep myself updated with the news in Malaysia, I decided to subscribe Malaysiakini for 6 months. So far, Malaysiakini has proven itself to be a good & independent source of information.
Enough about politic... My good ex-colleague from Vietnam Operation was here yesterday for a short trip. I took the opportunity to show him around. To ensure he got taste of the beautiful Doha, I took him to The Corniche where he experienced the fresh fish market by The Corniche. Off course, the souk was part of the tour....
We also invited him for dinner at our house. It was not easy to have a guest flew all the day from Vietnam to come to this part of the world. That alone gave us enough reason to invite him for dinner.. After all Khairil might be our neighbour in the future...

Dinasours came to town!!!
Heard about it. Could not believe it.
At the end we took the initiative to verify it. It was a small exhibition on dinosaurs at The City Centre. Sufficient to keep the kids occupied for 1 hour or so. Unfortunately, the write up about the dinosaurs were in Arabic except the names..huh.. Time to learn Arabic I suppose...
Previously, the dinosaurs could make some movements & sound. Not anymore. My guess was that the mechanical parts were now faulty due to the trespassers. If you knew what I meant... Some kids loved to be very close & personal with the dinosaurs...At the end they damaged them....

It was also interesting to know that Alisha did not fear the dinosaurs. She used to be afraid of clowns..hehe
